Hi, Lisa.

Thank you for cluing us in to the BETA release.
All in all, I think that the new presentations look 
pretty terrific. 

A couple of comments/questions:

I understand the need to mark cities/towns, at least
to some level of map scale presentation.  I think that
marking these as circles is a little awkward - for lack
of a better word - as you also use circles as the plotting
symbols for earthquakes now.  Maybe use squares for
the cities and towns?  I do notice that the city circles
go away at map and other display scales where the
extent of the built-up areas is visible.  Nice!

Was it a conscious decision to not label volcanoes on 
these maps? (Actually I did notice the labels for Hawaii,
but Aleutian and other volcanoes don't seem to be.)

Even at the global scale, I think I'd find it somehow 
more pleasing to see the clustered epicentral symbols 
instead of the circles containing numbers.  With the 
circled numbers showing up in Alaska, I initially thought 
of volcanic swarms.

Again, though, they look and function pretty terrific!
