<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">All in all, I think that the new presentations
look </font>
<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">pretty terrific. </font>

<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">A couple of comments/questions:</font>

<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">I understand the need to mark cities/towns,
at least</font>
<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">to some level of map scale presentation.
I think that</font>
<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">marking these as circles is a little
awkward - for lack</font>
<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">of a better word - as you also use circles
as the plotting</font>
<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">symbols for earthquakes now. Maybe
use squares for</font>
<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">the cities and towns? I do notice
that the city circles</font>
<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">go away at map and other display scales
where the</font>
<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">extent of the built-up areas is visible.

<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">Was it a conscious decision to not label
volcanoes on </font>
<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">these maps? (Actually I did notice the
labels for Hawaii,</font>
<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">but Aleutian and other volcanoes don't
seem to be.)</font>

<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">Even at the global scale, I think I'd
find it somehow </font>
<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">more pleasing to see the clustered epicentral
symbols </font>
<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">instead of the circles containing numbers.
With the </font>
<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">circled numbers showing up in Alaska,
I initially thought </font>
<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">of volcanic swarms.</font>
<br>
<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">Again, though, they look and function
pretty terrific!</font>
