Hi everybody,

http://ehpd-earthquake.cr.usgs.gov/madridtimeline/

For anybody that doesn't know, this timeline is part of the 1811 New Madrid bicentennial. For each earthquake in the sequence, we have one or more first hand accounts along with magnitude estimates.

Spend some time playing around with it. What's good? What's not good? What's broken? What's confusing? Any comments are appreciated. I was also toying around with putting all the content on the map: http://ehpd-earthquake.cr.usgs.gov/madridtimeline/index2.php. I can't decide if its worth developing that layout further.

On a related note, the timeline itself is now a widget. So if for some reason you need one on your page, check out http://ehpd-earthquake.cr.usgs.gov/template/widgets/timeline/example.php.

Thanks,

- Seth

P.S. Don't worry that the timeline only has 5 events... we're still in the process of collecting more info.
