Lisa,

>From viewing top on ehpmaster, what I'm seeing the most cpu usage on is
(and this is narrowed down to user quake): php, java, mysqld, perl,
kml3.pl, rsync, shakemap_indexer, and atom.pl.

I tried calling Stan to see what he found but haven't been able to connect
w/ him yet.

ehpmaster mystery

Chris-

Bob Simpson has been monitoring the recenteqsww_summary page, and is
getting quite concerned about the slowness of ehpmaster lately. I
mentioned it in a weekly meeting a couple of weeks ago, and I think Eric
attributed it to DYFI? indexing, but Bob says it's getting worse.

I've asked Stan to look into this issue, since he likes these kinds of
mysteries, so he may be asking you some questions about rsyncs and other
stuff as he delves into it. It may be web apps, rsyncs, or something else
- we don't know.

Just wanted to let you know.

- Lisa
