If I understand your point, you are concerned with government
regulations having a negative
impact on future development in the New Madrid Seismic Zone - this
would of course impact
the profit of engineers and developers in the area.
It seems that there may be other areas of government "intervention"
that you would oppose. How about:
Food safety?
Seat belts?
Air bags?
Toy safety?
Speed limits?
Air line regulations?
Just curious.
