Bruce,
This is a great idea.

Myself, Marcia McLaren (PG&E), and Craig Baillie (DWR) just held an
informal "user's group" meeting in Sacramento this morning to see what each
other is doing with ShakeCast.  It was really helpful to bounce ideas off
of others and get tips on ShakeCast administration.  We'll probably meet
every few months to touch base.  If there are others in the N. California
area that are interested in meeting, please let me know, and I will let you
know when we meet again.

Hello ShakeCast Users,
I have added you to a new mailing list for ShakeCast.  If you do not want
to be on this list, instructions for removing yourself are included in this
message.  If you can think of someone who you think should be on the list
feel free to forward this message to them, and they can sign themselves up.
We will use this list to announce updates to the system, new code, bug
fixes, and other ShakeCast business.  Feel free to submit messages for any
ShakeCast-related communication: questions, suggestions, fixes, general
discussion, etc.

You can also make such adjustments via email by sending a message to:

You must know your password to change your options (including changing
the password, itself) or to unsubscribe.  It is:

  upbuwi

Normally, Mailman will remind you of your scsnmail.gps.caltech.edu
mailing list passwords once every month, although you can disable this
if you prefer.  This reminder will also include instructions on how to
unsubscribe or change your account options.  There is also a button on
your options page that will email your current password to you.
