[Pdl] Realtime PDL Hub changes - completed

Hello,

As previously announced, we are replacing the existing Realtime PDL hubs.
The DNS change has been completed and old server names are now canonical
names to the new servers. Consumers (receive) should note that because of
this change that ONLY the New Realtime PDL hubs are guaranteed to have all
information. The Old Realtime PDL hubs will be shut down on March 1, 2017.

Old Realtime PDL hubs:
ehppdl1.cr.usgs.gov ( CNAME to prod01-pdl01.cr.usgs.gov )
ehppdl2.wr.usgs.gov ( CNAME to prod02-pdl01.cr.usgs.gov )

New Realtime PDL hubs:
prod01-pdl01.cr.usgs.gov ( 137.227.224.211 )
prod02-pdl01.cr.usgs.gov ( 137.227.252.137 )

PRODUCER/SEND CONFIGURATION CHANGES

Producers (send) may now begin updating their configurations. While the
CNAME DNS change should automatically route your traffic to the new
servers, you may want to update your configuration to avoid future
confusion.

1) Update server references in your INI file (config.ini)

You can check which sender sections are active by looking at the "senders"
property (before any sections) in your configuration. Most consumers have
a "sender_ehppdl1" and "sender_ehppdl2" section in their configuration, for
example
    senders = sender_ehppdl1

In any sender sections (type =
gov.usgs.earthquake.distribution.SocketProductSender),
update the "host" property to reference the New Realtime PDL hubs:

    Replace "ehppdl1.cr.usgs.gov" with "prod01-pdl01.cr.usgs.gov"
    Replace "ehppdl2.wr.usgs.gov" with "prod02-pdl01.cr.usgs.gov"

For Example:

[sender_ehppdl1]
type = gov.usgs.earthquake.distribution.SocketProductSender
host = prod01-pdl01.cr.usgs.gov
port = 11235

2) Restart your PDL client using the init script.

For example:
ProductClient/init.sh restart

Thanks,

Jeremy
