Hello,

An issue with the merged xml catalog produced by QDM was discovered on  
August 25th.  This update fixes that issue.  Users who do not use this  
file or who receive CUBE messages via EIDS (instead of QDDS) are  
unaffected, but are still encouraged to upgrade.

There have been several reports of problems with early versions of  
java.  Sun java version 1.5 or newer is recommended.


The latest jar file can be downloaded using ftp:
	ftp://ehzftp.wr.usgs.gov/QDM/src/QDM.jar


Update process:
	Stop QDM
	Replace the QDM.jar jar file
	Start QDM


Changes:
	Updated Xerces2 to version 2.10.0 (from version 2.8).
	Replaces all null characters with spaces in CUBE event ("E ") messages.
