We believe that most of our Basalt problems are due to
problems with the CF cards, which are used for
a. OS,
b.Rock software,
c. onsite data storage (baler functionality).

Symptoms have been reboots for no apparent reason (nothing listed
in either /var/log/messages or SMARTSLog.txt or SMARTSError.txt files),
and in bad cases, read/write errors or timeouts to the disk.

All of our systems had 16 GB SanDisk CF cards.
KMI has provided us with replacement cards.
New card is: Transcend CF2001 Compact Flash Industrial Grade, 16 GB.
We are switching cards as we visit sites.
