Hi Mitch,

I've seen a similar problem with 64-bit perl and DBD::Oracle. Your
best bet is to get 32-bit mysql and link your 32-bit perl (from
sunfreeware.com?) to it. This might even connect alright with the
64-bit server, according to this note (which describes the inverse of
your situation):
