Unlimited data with Verizon Wireless has dropped to $39.99/ month net on
the new GSAFSS pricing schedule.
Also, I have just received word that there are some firmware issues with
the new SW GX440 data modem. I just purchased one from our vendor and it
will ship this coming Monday. I am told that a firmware update is on the
way in the next couple of weeks to fix come critical bugs. I'll test it
in our shop and report back in the coming weeks.

They claim it is "Certified on the Verizon Wireless LTE network and commercially available in Q1 2012" and in a "rugged" package. I didn't make any further inquiries because we aren't looking for such bandwidth yet in a cellular modem (5-12Gbps), but I thought I'd let you all know. I'm also not sure what sort of data plans are available from Verizon for 4G, but I am meeting with my rep next week so I'll get it from him then. I know, what good am I?
