[ANSS-netops] anyone seen this on a dm24?

We have a couple dozen guralp cmg5td accelerometers.  These have the
integrated mk2 dm24 DAS.  We run them in dual mode to stream
continuous data and record triggers to flash.  We noticed however that
no triggers actually get recorded if you set them to dual.  You must
first set them to filing mode and upload that param then reset them to
dual.  If you do that, then triggers are recorded to flash fine.  If you
configure to dual directly without first setting to filing, then the logs
show triggers should have been recorded but no waveforms are actually in
the flash for download.  Am I going bonkers or has anyone else seen this?
