[Realtime-feed-users] Noticed an issue with Realtime 1-Day M1.0 + GeoJSON Feed

Hi,

One of our automated processes polls the USGS 1-Day M1.0+ GeoJSON feed every minute. It started going haywire around 7pm Pacific time tonight. After some investigation, we noticed that several earthquakes are being repeatedly removed and re-added to the feed. We are seeing this happen every few minutes.

We have changed our process to guard against this, but thought you might want to know about it.

Here are some of the earthquake Ids that this is happening to:

nc72835171, nc72835166, ak16330457, ak16330451, mb80230434, ak16330446, ak16330444, nc72835131, ak16330442, mb80230399, mb80230389, pr2017193006, mb80230344, pr2017193005, ak16329699, uu60215287, uu60215282, uu60215277, uu60215267

I’m not sure if this is also happening with other feeds.

Kind regards,
James Richards
