Hi Ophelie,
You outputs are missing some things I'd expect to see. For instance, the -verbose output should look like this:

Your output is missing the "Map bound..." line and the various "Using..." lines. I'm not sure why this would be, or if it is related to your problem, but you may need to run 'grind' in the perl debugger and step through and see why these lines aren't being printed.
What operating system are you using? What version of Perl?
Also, can you go to <shake_home>/src/contour and do a "make clean" followed by "make" and send me the output?
