[Shake-dev] Shape files

Hi Jordi,
I've looked this over and it looks to me that it is working correctly, but there are some issues:
1. The ShakeMap map contours are in units of percent-g, but the shape files (for accelerations) are in units of g. The first contour is a 0.02g, and then occur every 0.04g. But your earthquake has a maximum PGA of just over 1%g, so you don't get any contours in your shape file. MMI, on the other hand, is contoured every 0.2 MMI units, so you do see contours there. Try increasing the magnitude of your example earthquake if you want to see that the GIS files are producing correct contours.
2. You shouldn't be getting cont_*.dat files in your mapping folder. Those file were discontinued some time ago. You need to update your ShakeMap code base to the latest version in the repository.
3. I'm not sure what's going on with your JPEGs. I can't read them, either. There may be a problem with ImageMagick, but I would recommend you update your ShakeMap code first, since there have been a number of changes to improve the way genex converts PS files to JPEG. If updating doesn't help, you'll have to try to debug your ImageMagick installation (I can't help much with that), or try using GraphicsMagick's gm utility (see "convert" in genex.conf to learn how to do this).
