ShakeMap users,
We've added a few new fixes to the 3.5 release that will be of
interest. The changes are listed below. To get the updated code, it
should be simply a matter of going to your ShakeMap home directory and
executing "svn update" followed by "make".
1. A fix to 'grind' to limit the use of ground motions derived from
low intensity MMI (or, more generally, MI) data. PGAs are only used
if they derive from intensities >= 3.0, PGVs and PSAs are only used if
they derive from intensities > 4.0 (note: there are no current GMICE
modules that produce PSAs from intensity data). Testing has shown
that this change improves the quality of the maps.
2. Update to the TA09_mmi IPE based on a communication from Trevor
Allen.
3. A fix to 'getdyfi' that will help when retrieving DYFI data for
certain events.
4. A fix Pete Lombard supplied for Event.pm that will help if you are
using eq2xml to get event data from a database.
5. Fixes to include "clean" targets to three Makefiles that lacked
them. (Also from Pete Lombard.)
As always, let us know if you run into any problems.
Bruce
