Hi Jack,
I'm not sure why Chris didn't see the stations on the intensity map.
Do we need to make them darker? An on-off switch would be a bit of
work, and I'm not sure if it would be worth it, considering that the
KML/Google Earth system provides that, and a lot more. Have Chris
take a look at:

using Google Earth and see if that better meets his needs. It's a
small event, but it shows all the same functionality. We've got a
bit more work to do with the KML, but once it's done, we (southern
CA) will be rerunning a lot of older events to produce the KML and XML.
