Hi Folks,
Attached is a new version of the source for contour program (used to
make GIS shapefiles). Some GIS users were experiencing problems
converting these files to Arc SDE format because of the extremely close
spacing of polygon vertices under certain circumstances. This new
version should fix the problem. While this update is not urgent, we
thought it was important enough to make it available right away.
To install the fix, put the file in <shake_home>/src/contour (you'll
have to move or overwrite the existing contour.c) and then do 'make'
(Solaris) or 'gmake' (FreeBSD) within that directory. The contour
program will be compiled, then installed in <shake_home>/bin.
Let me know if you have problems.
Bruce
