                                   NETWORK OUTAGE ALERT

CATEGORY:       Major

OUTAGE DATE/TIME:    Saturday, February 22, 2014  7:00 am - 12:00 pm

PURPOSE:   Multiple Activities: upgrading operating system on DFC Core
Routers, DFC switches, DMZ switches, recabling B50 PBX switch,  and B53
Voice VLAN

ANTICIPATED IMPACT ON USER COMMUNITY:   During this time DFC LANs will see
rolling network outages as maintenance and upgrades are performed on
switches. It is anticipated that individual LANs will be down from 15-30
minutes during the maintenance window.

NEIC Golden connectivity should not be impacted, but NEIC systems on DFC
DMZ will be

Service Desk phones will sustain a brief outage(s).

***Note: During this time, please carry a cell phone in case of an
emergency.
