The content listed above is currently all synced on a periodic basis (every 30 minutes) from our master (EHPMaster and EHPBackup) to our production servers (EHP1-4). This content lives outside the flow our regular content deployment flow (SVN daily builds). This setup is not optimal since content is pushed inter-regionally (EHPBackup --> EHP2/3, EHPMaster --> EHP1/4; i.e. Denver <--> Menlo). In most cases, content in these directories is pushed directly to both our master servers. In the rare case that content arrives only on a single master server (EHPMaster), content is also synced from EHPMaster --> EHPBackup.

I am proposing we limit the rsync such that EHPBackup --> EHP1/4 only and EHPMaster --> EHP2/3 only. This will improve sync performance and reliability while reducing network bandwidth between Denver and Menlo.

If you can see flaws in this proposal or strongly object to this proposal, please contact me no later than COB 10/5. With no objections, I will move forward with this change on Tuesday 10/9.

Thanks,
	~Eric.
