CATEGORY OF CHANGE:     Major

ANTICIPATED IMPACT ON USER COMMUNITY:  The USGS Denver Federal Center network  will experience outages during this window to allow the replacement of
the campus firewall and the DMZ firewall.

DESCRIPTION OF CHANGE:   We will be replacing the DFC Netscreen Firewalls with updated equipment.

RATIONALE FOR CHANGE:   This is part on an effort to refresh old equipment as part of ITSOT lifecycle managment.

PLANNED CHANGE DATE/TIME:  February 3, 2010  5:00 am - 6:00 am
