In preparation for the new website navigation changes, I am going to
change the names of two directories on ehpdevel at 10am MDT this
morning.
/eqcenter will be changed to /earthquakes
/learning will be changed to /learn
Please let me know before 10am if this will cause a problem for you.
It may break some realtime systems, but since it's the development
server, that shouldn't matter, and it will help us pinpoint issues we
need to fix before going live with the new directory structure.
When we put the new structure online, we will have permanent redirects
in place so nothing should break, but after the switch, we should
carefully change all the links to reference the new dirs within our
own website.
If you have to update a file on ehpdevel that already has a link in
the content area to one of these new dirs, please make sure that you
change back the link to point to the CURRENT dir name (/eqcenter or /
learning) before you commit it to be moved online.
Thanks
- Lisa
