There was a failure of the UPS system at EROS last night that affected all
of the systems in the computer room that the earthquake server resides. It
certainly would have affected the power to the earthquake server. It
also affected power to the network gear that connects to the WAN. All
access to EROS was unreachable during the timeframe 6:45 pm CST to
approximately 8:00 pm CST.
Repair to the UPS is expected to occur today and transition back to UPS
will be scheduled ASAP.
