Denver Federal ESN outage Saturday  Dec 12th, 2009  7:00am to 4:00pm


          I just received word the DOI ESN Denver node will be powered 
down on Saturday Dec 12th from approx 7:00am to 4:00pm (MT) to replace the 
UPS that was damaged during last months ESN power outage.  This will cause 
a complete outage for all connectivity to/from the DFC. There will be no 
Internet, Intranet or connectivity to any outside entity. The USGS 
computer facility will remain under full power but will have no outside 
connectivity. All Central Region sites outside the Denver Federal Center 
should failover to their secondary Internet connections. If you have 
questions feel free to call me.
