Team,
Through iterative meetings and discussions I have refined the
Subversion (SVN) proposal. This covers how we will migrate to SVN,
and how we work with it once we have migrated. Please review this
document and contact me with questions, comments, or concerns. You
may contact me via email (emartinez at usgs.gov), phone (303.273.8653),
come by the office (rm. 320 in Golden), or we can talk on the team
conference call in September (next week). Prior to migration I plan
to hold a training that covers the following:
(1) What was the old development process?
(2) What is the new development process?
(3) How will we migrate from the old process to the new process?
(4) Once we've migrated, how will my workflow be impacted?
(5) Javascript/CSS best practices with tips and tricks. (Followup to
web development 101).
This meeting is planned for hopefully the end of September, detail to
follow in the coming weeks. I encourage more discussion than not,
sooner than later. If there are potentially impacted persons that you
know are not on this mailing list, please feel free to forward this
document to them.
Thanks,
~Eric.
