Hi All,

I'm pleased to announce the public release of airborne geophysical data
collected over the site of the 2011 Mw5.8 Mineral, Virginia earthquake via
ScienceBase.gov, a new USGS platform for managing and distributing data.

The easiest way to access these data is to go to ScienceBase.gov and search
for "Virginia earthquake geophysics."

Alternatively, users may follow this direct link:
https://www.sciencebase.gov/catalog/item/53e522c7e4b0fff404296e37

The release includes imagery (geotiffs and kmz files), grids, and flight
line data.

Papers describing first analysis results will be published in an upcoming
book by the Geological Society of America, "The 2011 Mineral, Virginia
earthquake and its significance for seismic hazards in eastern North
America." Online availability of these papers is anticipated in early
December.

Thanks to all who helped make this happen -

Regards,
Anji
