[CEUS-earthquake-hazards] Seats Available: 2011 Earthquake Insight Field Trip

Greetings, all.

There are still several seats available for the 2011 Earthquake Insight Field Trip.

This will be on Wednesday evening, November 2, through Friday afternoon, November 4.  The trip starts and ends in St. Louis, and the route includes southern Illinois and southwest Indiana.

The itinerary and agenda includes a route, stops, and presentations related to the 1811-12 New Madrid earthquakes; the 2008 Mt. Carmel, Ill., earthquake; regional earthquake hazards; earthquake risk mitigation; and related topics.

This annual event, hosted by the US Geological Survey and led by Earthquake Insight LLC, is especially for non-scientists in the business/industry sector, infrastructure, and government.  Cost is $550.00 per person.
