6 pm: Talks by Chris Cramer, Rob Williams & Greg Hempen.
Reservations: $15 for professionals by COB M, February 1, 2010.
$5 for university students by COB M, February 1, 2010.

Walk-ins: $20 for professionals and $10 for university students after M, February 1, 2010.
The meeting will begin promptly at 6 pm with a few announcements and quickly followed by the talks. The New Madrid Chapter of EERI is assembling the meeting. Several other organizations are supporting the meeting by their own announcements and advocacy. The Earthquake Issues in the Central US speakers and their topics are:
Chris Cramer, PhD, (CERI, Univ of Memphis) Overview of the SLAEHM Project;
Rob Williams (USGS, Golden, CO) Earthquake Ground Motion Simulation of the 2008, Mount Carmel, IL Event;
Greg Hempen, PhD, PE, RG (URS Corp) Update on the New Madrid Earthquake Scenario.
The speakers happen to be assembled for several meetings related to Missouri's February Earthquake Awareness Month. Some of the activities/meetings within the St. Louis area are the Missouri Seismic Safety Commission meeting, St. Louis Area Earthquake Hazard Mapping (SLAEHM) Project meeting, Earthquakes: Mean Business, and the Sa, Feb 6, St. Louis Science Center, Earthquake Information Program.
