The USGS is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Data Quality Analyst (Physical Scientist - 1301 - GS-11/12) within the Earthquake Monitoring Project (EMP).</div>

Duties:

<li> Analyze seismic data to identify response and sensor problems.</li><li> Manage geophysical instrumentation metadata.</li><li> Perform acceptance testing of new digital equipment.</li><li> Identify standards issues and develop new or modified standards in order to improve digital data products.</li><li> Process and interpret geophysical and geodetic data using commercial, university, and bureau-developed processing and interpretive software packages.</li><li> Real-time monitoring of various state-of-health parameters.</li></ul>
