<div>What model of cell modem are you using? If you can get the Q330 web page but can’t use Willard, a common cause is that TCP ports are forwarded but UDP are not. Willard uses UDP protocol by default - and the Q330 Baler is usually configured by default to use UDP port 5330 or 6330. Make sure the cell modem is set to forward the UDP protocol. You could also try using the “Tunnel330” option in Willard when you connect, which will use a TCP connection instead.</div>

<div>As Doug noted below, we no longer recommend direct connections in this manner because the Quanterra data protocol is insecure. It’s okay on a temporary basis, but eventually best to switch to an encrypted VPN.</div>
