Hi John,

In the NCSN we do not use S-13's but rather L-4C seismometers from Sercel. In the few installations where we have been installing Basalts with L-4C's attached we have used the 2.5V full-scale value for that channel. So far that seems to work just fine. However, I see that the S-13 has just over twice the output (~630 V/m/s) as an L-4C (~275 V/m/s), so you may want to try the 5V setting on the Basalt.

If you want more general help setting up the Basalt, ask Jacob. ;-)

Dave

On Mon, Jun 10, 2013 at 12:16 PM, Jacob Crummey <jcrummey@gps.caltech.edu> wrote:

Hi John,

Are you looking for the configuration of the Basalt specific to
the S-13 sensors? Or are you asking for help in setting up a
Basalt in general?

I can help you with setting up a Basalt, but we don't use the S-13
sensors in our network.
