[Shake-dev] getting rid of ugly grid lines?

Hello Bruce,

Is there a mapping option that I can use to get rid of these ugly grid
lines on my pga and pgv plots?

I tried removing my .gmtdefaults4 file and rerunning, but no change. Just
updated to the latest version of everything and still there.

my map_axes    : a60mf30m/a30mf30mWSen

After I run shakemap, a new .gmtdefaults4 file is created which has these
values:
GRID_CROSS_SIZE_PRIMARY = 0i
GRID_PEN_PRIMARY        = 0.25p
GRID_CROSS_SIZE_SECONDARY       = 0i
GRID_PEN_SECONDARY      = 0.5p

I think I get these grids because the grid_cross_size is set to 0. However,
changing them in the .gmtdefaults4 file in SHAKE_HOME also makes no
difference.

GMT version 4.5.0

(btw, the grid is not plotted on intensity plots).

thanks, Renate
