earthquake have demonstrated the impacts of co-seismic hazards across New Zealand. Geospatial models are considered time and cost efficient tools to predict liquefaction and landslides across large areas. Recent research evaluated globally applicable geospatial
models for different earthquake scenarios in New Zealand, focussing on the role of global versus region specific input variables on the prediction performance. The presentation summarises the findings and discusses the implications of using a geospatial approach
in a national and regional context. Potential areas of application are also presented including a simplified approach to predict earthquake triggered landslide dams and road blockages, as well as a framework to estimate liquefaction and landslide impacts across
large-scale infrastructure networks such as the New Zealand State Highways.<br>
