It’s been a while! I wanted to let you know that my father passed away last evening, peacefully at home with his wife Susan. I’m sure you will agree with me that we were all fortunate to have known him, and I knew you would want to be informed. <br>

As things move forward, I would actually be very grateful if you could share a story or two about my dad and your time working with him in both the seismology and geomagnetism branches. My memories of those days are faint and I know you probably have a few very, very good stories. <br>
<br>
Also, I’m sorry I missed you when I was at your office last week, but I expect we will all be collaborating more in the future as Space Weather initiatives continue to heat up. <br>
