All,
The following discrepancies were noted this day:
Barrow. *The Total Field component was restored at 1707 UT, on 8/21/18 (YD
233). GOES Transmission are still not being received. *
*Shumagin. At 1805 UT, on 8/21/18 (YD 233), while doing some **maintenance
at the site, acquisition stopped. At 1835 UT, on 8/22/18 (YD 234)
acquisition was restored. Thank you, John Spritzer and Mark Nelson.
GOES Transmission are still not being received.*
*College. At 0729 UT, on 8/22/18 (YD 234), there was a bin change in the H
component. *
*Tucson. What appears to be thunderstorms, caused numerous Artificial
Disturbances from 1757 UT, on 8/22/18 (YD 234), through 0318 UT, on 8/23/18
(YD 235), and from 1643 through 1800 UT, on 3/23/18 (YD 235. *
*Guam. The recorded outside temperature values went bad at 0145 UT, on
8/18/18 (YD 230). I have sent out replacement parts. *
*Dist. The Shamagin plot is corrupted before **1835 UT, on 8/22/18 (YD
234). That is when acquisition was restored.*
*SQ and SV. **The Shamagin SQ and SV plots show an offset from 1824
through 1846 UT, on 8/22/18 (YD 234), caused by an acquisition outage.*
*Boulder E-Field. None.*
*DST. There is the daily offset in the USGS Dst-1min plot resulting from
the corresponding data gap in the plot for Kakioka at around the end/start
of each day. Also, at 0437 through 0453 UT, on 8/22/18 (YD 234), there was
an Artificial Disturbance to the Kakioka data plot, causing a
corresponding corruption to the USGS Dst-1min plot.*
