All,
The following discrepancies were noted this day:
Barrow. *The Total Field component stopped being recorded at 2229 UT, on
8/20/18 (YD 232). This caused all derived products from Barrow to stop
being displayed at the same time. **MagWorm is still not formatting data
for GOES transmissions. Abe Claycomb is looking into both of these items.*
*Shumagin. Abe Claycomb is working on the Display PC so we can restart
MagWorm and the GOES **transmissions**. John Spritzer and Mark Nelson are
on site today and may be able to help with this problem.*
*Fredericksburg. There was one bad Total Field Value recorded during
minute 0300 UT, on 8/21/18 (YD 232).*
*Tucson. What appears to be a thunderstorm, caused numerous Artificial
Disturbances from 2309 UT, on 8/20/18 (YD 232), through 0307 UT, on 8/21/18
(YD 233). There were bad Total Field Values recorded during the following
minutes: 0526, 1237 and 1346 UT, on 8/21/18 (YD 233).*
*Guam. The recorded outside temperature values went bad at 0145 UT, on
8/18/18 (YD 230). I will be sending out replacement parts today. *
*Dist, SQ and SV. **All derived traces from Barrow ceased at 2230 UT, on
8/20/18 (YD 232)*
*DST. There is the daily offset in the USGS Dst-1min plot resulting from
the corresponding data gap in the plot for Kakioka at around the end/start
of each day. *
That's all,
Ed Sauter
