We're using what's called responsive design, which means it will render nicely on mobile or desktop, and will have a few more options on desktop than mobile, BUT it's the same URL for both.</div>
<div><br></div><div>The previous beta version that we posted was the mobile device version only, but as of yesterday's update, it now has both the mobile and desktop parts. The only part it doesn't have yet is the Earthquake Archive Search, which we're working on now. The old earthquake catalog search broke, and we've replaced it with a quick and dirty interim version that searches the new ComCat catalog.</div>
<div><br></div><div><div>This version also incorporates the feedback we've been receiving on the current "new" earthquake map/list interface. This version is hopefully cleaner, faster, and more intuitive and user-friendly. We'll never be able to fully meet the needs of all our various users, but the goal is to meet most of the needs of most of the users.</div>
</div><div><br></div><div>Note that the interface for all earthquakes, real-time, past, and historic, will all be through this new interface that is currently at <a href="http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/mobile/" target="_blank">http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/mobile/</a> .</div>
