<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">I'm trying to move away from installing
packages from source. In doing so, I'd like to change ehpstage and
ehpdevel to php installations through RHN. </font>
<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">Now for all of you developers out there...I've
no idea how this would affect you other than the php.ini that gets referenced.
The RHN version of php</font>
<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">typically enables all modules within
it so there shouldn't be any issues with having to add anything. </font>
<br>
<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">I would like to first do this on ehpdevel
and then get any feedback as to any issues that anyone is having after
the changeover.</font>
<br>
<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">Eventually I intend on using yum to
install as much as possible for all systems that I administer. This
will ease the pain when upgrading packages</font>
<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">and such especially related to security
patches.</font>
