when users try to access https://ehptools.cr.usgs.gov/trac they get an
error in their browsers:</font>
<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">"secure connection failed".
Please add an exception to allow this to connect. Due to the
fact that ehptools was created with a self-signed</font>
<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">ssl certificate it will display this
error.</font>
