<div dir="ltr"><div class="gmail_default" style="font-size:small">Hi - Thanks to a partnership of <span style="font-size:12.8px">U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACDE)-St. Louis District, USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service-Missouri, USACE_Memphis District, Missouri State Department of Natural Resources, and USGS, there is a new batch of high-resolution (~7 cm vertical resolution;"QL2") Lidar available for most of the heart of the New Madrid seismic zone. The data, the highest resolution yet available for most of NE Arkansas and the Missouri Bootheel, are recently publicly available in raw point-cloud LAS files from the USGS National Map site. </span></div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-size:small"><span style="font-size:12.8px"><br></span></div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-size:small"><span style="font-size:12.8px">The following is a quick overview of how to get the data. I'm not an expert at retrieving data like this from the web, so I had to ask a colleague for help with the procedural outline listed below. Navigate to: <a href="https://viewer.nationalmap.gov/basic/" target="_blank">https://viewer.nationalmap.<wbr>gov/basic/</a></div><div style="font-size:12.8px"><br></div><div style="font-size:12.8px">2. Zoom in to area of interest on map. (The more detailed area you choose, the less complicated the data list will to sift through! LAS file download can be very large...)</div><div style="font-size:12.8px"><br></div><div style="font-size:12.8px">3. In left hand "Datasets" side panel under the "Data" section, toggle on "Elevation Source Data (3DEP)" section, then toggle on "Lidar Point Cloud (LPC)" in the "Product Search Filter" area. Last, click <b>Find Products!</b></div><div style="font-size:12.8px"><br></div><div style="font-size:12.8px">4. Now all available products are shown in "Pages" on the left hand "Available Products" section. To add these to you cart for download, you need to click the "cart+ Page" symbol. NOTE: This will have to be done for each "Page" of data to collect all files for the entire area. When done adding all products to your cart, click "View Cart". On the resulting page, click "Export Cart Items" in the upper left corner. (This saves a CSV file on your computer!)</div><div style="font-size:12.8px"><br></div><div style="font-size:12.8px">6. Next click "Open Download Manager" in the upper left corner. This takes you to a page where you can download The National Map Download Manager .jar file. Download the latest version!</div><div style="font-size:12.8px"><br></div><div style="font-size:12.8px">7. Run the .jar file previously downloaded, click File->Import in the upper left corner of the GUI and specify the cartExport.csv file that you downloaded in step 5. This will initialize the download of each file in your cart....
