<DIV>Greetings.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>The US Geological Survey and other geoscience professionals are hosting
<STRONG>Earthquake Insight Briefing</STRONG>, an educational event, in
Washington DC on <STRONG>Wednesday, February 19, 2014</STRONG>. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>This <STRONG>Earthquake Insight Briefing</STRONG> will include an overview
of earthquake hazards in the central and eastern US that expose many investment,
commerce, and business operations to earthquake risk. This program is not
for scientists and engineers, but for those in investment, insurance, business
operations, loss mitigation, and related business and financial practice
areas.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>I’ve pasted a short newsletter-type article below, which explains the
event. Would it be possible for you to share this announcement with peers
and colleagues who may want to attend?</DIV>
