w:st="on">Memphis</st1:City></st1:place> office of the US Geological
Survey.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Oliver earned his BS, MS,
and PhD from the <st1:PlaceType w:st="on">University</st1:PlaceType> of
<st1:PlaceName w:st="on">Colorado</st1:PlaceName> at <st1:place
w:st="on"><st1:City w:st="on">Boulder</st1:City></st1:place>.<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Most recently he has served as the
Mendenhall Postdoctoral Fellow at the USGS in <st1:City
w:st="on">Denver</st1:City>, <st1:State w:st="on">Colo.</st1:State>, working on
time-dependent probabilistic seismic hazards and producing seismic hazards maps
for parts of <st1:State w:st="on">Alaska</st1:State>, <st1:country-region
w:st="on">Indonesia</st1:country-region>, and <st1:country-region
w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Afghanistan</st1:place></st1:country-region>.</P>

</SPAN>Dave Overhoff</B> recently joined the Missouri Division of Geology &
Land Survey in Rolla.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Dave will
serve as the Survey’s <SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: sans-serif"><FONT
face="Times New Roman">geohazards geologist as well as manage the Survey’s role
on this project.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>He has 10 years
work experience in both public and private environmental geology and
environmental engineering.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Dave is
a graduate of <st1:PlaceName w:st="on">Missouri</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceType
w:st="on">State</st1:PlaceType> <st1:PlaceType

assessment of various boring logs, geophysical logs, maps, and other identified

sites that are significant in explaining the earthquake issue in the central

and research geoscientists, engineers, and emergency managers will travel with
the group on a chartered motor coach, a box lunch, and a guidebook.<SPAN

include visits to sites and sights in northeast <st1:State

w:st="on">Missouri</st1:State>, southernmost <st1:State
w:st="on">Illinois</st1:State>, western <st1:State
w:st="on">Kentucky</st1:State>, and western <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:State
