[ANSS-netops] Obsidian: Replacement of Basalt/Granite?

Are there many Obsidians being used now and how have their performance been
since they have replaced the Basalt/Granite systems?
If so, have experience with implementing Rockhound on the Obsidian and
transporting data using RockToSlink to Earthworm?
