[ANSS-netops] Physical Science Technician position at the USGS (Menlo Park or Pasadena)

The US Geological Survey (USGS), Earthquake Monitoring Project (EMP), has
an open position for a Physical Science Technician (PST) in the National
Strong Motion Project (NSMP). The National Strong Motion Project has the
responsibility for acquiring strong motion records of significant
earthquakes in the United States.  The NSMP installs and operates
instrumentation nationwide in ground sites and structures such as
buildings, dams, and bridges whose response to strong shaking is of
interest to the engineering community.

The selected employee will jump into a dynamic and exciting work
environment, involving the design, testing, calibration, installation, and
maintenance of a variety of strong-motion instrumentation systems at
critical structures and ground sites.
