[ANSS-netops] Position at the USGS Albuquerque Seismological Laboratory

The USGS Albuquerque Seismological Laboratory, is looking for a network 
operations manager.  The purpose of this position is to coordinate and 
oversee
the operations and maintenance for the USGS component of the Global 
Seismographic Network (GSN) and the Advanced National Seismic System 
(ANSS) backbone network and to support the operation of the ANSS regional 
depot.  The GSN is an observatory-quality seismograph network with 
stations around the world; the ANSS backbone is the national network of 
the United States.  Both networks provide high quality broadband and 
strong motion data for earthquake monitoring and research.  The ANSS 
regional depot serves both USGS and non-USGS networks in the ANSS, 
providing equipment spares, tracking equipment failures, and performing or 

overseeing equipment repair.

Series and Grade: GS-1313-13/14
Salary range: $80,402 - $123,519 per year
Position Information: Permanent, full-time
Duty Location: Albuquerque, NM
