Ouch! Speaking of fences and gates, I once accidentally let a young bull
get out through a barbed wire fence that we had to cut through & later
repair (not well enough, obviously) to install a concrete vault &
seismic equipment in southwestern Louisiana. The bull got hit & killed
in the road, and we had to pay the farmer $750 (this was in the early
1980's; I'm sure it would be a lot more now.) The farmer was much nicer
to me, once I let him know the money was on its way! Moral: Don't cut
through fences unless you have to. And, watch out for those Bulls.

I figured many of us drive through gates all the time in our field work.

Amazing that there is no stain on the seat either!
